Roof Repair Before & After Photos

Homeowner called in for a quote for roof repair on the side panel of his home.   He said that he noticed a gap between the roof and wall when he was up in his attic that he wants covered.  He purchased the home A year ago and would like us to look at it to see if any other repairs need to be made. The homeowner, who has cherished her 1920s home for 21 years, began noticing occasional leaks and water spots inside during rain or snow. She realized her two flat rubber roofs—one on the rear of the home and the other on the side—had likely exceeded their lifespan, as neither had been replaced in over two decades. Concerned about further interior damage and determined to maintain the integrity of her historic home, she reached out to professionals to address the aging roofs.

Our team replaced both flat EPDM rubber roofs, measuring 10x13 and 9x12, totaling 2.5 squares. We installed eight pieces of white drip edge to ensure proper water runoff and protect the edges from wear, along with 25 linear feet of counter flashing for a secure seal where the roof meets the walls. The project was completed with precision to prevent future leaks and ensure long-lasting performance, giving the homeowner peace of mind and restoring the protective function of her beloved home’s roofs.

The decking on this roof was rotted and falling through into the attic. Our team repaired the damaged.

We have successfully replaced a short board length with a new one, securely fastened onto the framing behind it. To enhance water drainage from the roof, we have also added edge metal. It is important to note that during the previous roof replacement, edge metal should have been installed along the entire perimeter of your roof to ensure optimal performance.
