Before: A Leaky Skylight Caused Worry
A homeowner in Chillicothe, OH noticed that water was coming in through the skylight on the sloped part of the roof. Two other skylights on the flat roof were fine, but the one in the middle had old flashing and worn-out shingles. It needed to be fixed before things got worse. The leak was making the homeowner nervous every time it rained. They knew it was time to call someone they could trust. Klaus Larsen Roofing had helped others in their neighborhood. So they gave us a call to come take a look.

During: Careful Work to Make It Right
Our team came out and carefully took off the old shingles and roof layers around the skylight. We put down a strong, waterproof layer to help stop leaks. Then, we installed a brand new Velux skylight with special glass that keeps the home quiet, safe, and cool. We used a Velux flashing kit to seal everything tight and protect it from rain. The crew worked as a team and made sure to clean up as they went. They double-checked that the skylight was sitting just right. The new materials were picked to match the rest of the roof. We made sure the family could stay dry and worry-free.

After: A Strong, Bright New Look
The new skylight was sealed and surrounded by fresh Frostone Grey shingles that matched the rest of the roof. Now the home looks great and stays dry. The homeowner is happy to have more sunlight without worrying about leaks. The skylight also helps keep the room below it brighter during the day. It gives the house a newer look from the outside, too. The homeowner said they were glad they chose us. At Klaus Larsen Roofing, we're proud to help families feel safe and comfortable in their homes
