A homeowner in Mount Gilead, OH, experienced significant storm damage to their home and sought a complete exterior renovation, including a new roof, gutters, and siding. With unknown roof age and active leaks, they opted to work through their homeowners’ insurance to restore their home’s structural integrity and curb appeal.
Following the Klaus Roofing Way, we began by removing all damaged materials, disposing of debris, and tearing off the existing roof. Any broken or compromised 1x8x10 plank decking was replaced to ensure a solid foundation. To provide superior protection, we applied Dynasty Architectural Shingles in Frostone Grey, featuring a reinforced Armour Zone strip and FastLock sealant for enhanced durability and wind resistance up to 130 MPH. Additionally, we installed two rows of Sealoron XT Ice & Water Barrier to safeguard against moisture infiltration, reinforcing eaves, valleys, and vulnerable roof intersections. The project was completed with the removal of old gutters and the installation of 146 feet of new 5-K white gutters, 40 feet of 2x3 downspouts, and 5-A elbows, ensuring efficient water drainage and long-term protection for the home.
Homeowners in Carroll, OH had Klaus Roofing replace the roofs on their home and shed. The roof on the home at hail damage and they were changing the color of the home, so they needed to change the color of the roof as well. The shed also had a lot of damage and moss was growing on it. Moss can cause damage to a roof because it grows between the shingles and allows water to get through. This can degrade the roof underneath. The roofs are now beautifully redone in IKO Dynasty Granite Black. Now the homeowners can carry on with the rest of their renovation projects.
