This homeowner called Klaus Larsen Roofing because one bedroom was colder than the rest of the house. They assumed they needed more insulation, but weren't completely sure.
Klaus Roofing Inspector, David Wirtz agreed that it was a lack of insulation that was causing this room to be colder and he recommend we install our graphite-infused rigid foam insulation panels called SilverGlo to seal and insulate the attic. SilverGlo is waterproof, durable and will not shrink or lose efficacy over time.
This roof had extensive wood rot and was completely replaced with IKO shingles in the color Weather Wood.
A Grove City homeowner contacted Klaus Larsen Roofing to inspect their roof and evaluate its condition before winter. They had purchased the home in July and were unsure of the roof’s age but noticed the shingles looked warped, prompting concerns about durability. With no attic access due to new insulation, the inspection focused on external assessments of the shingles and overall structure. The homeowner also expressed interest in Frostone Grey shingles if a replacement was needed.
Following The Klaus Roofing Way, our team conducted a thorough evaluation and provided a detailed report on the roof’s condition. We explained our findings, outlined potential concerns, and presented options for repair or replacement. The homeowner appreciated the clarity and the proactive approach, feeling reassured their roof would be ready to handle Ohio’s winter weather. If a replacement is pursued, the Frostone Grey shingles will provide a refreshed look and long-term durability.

After only two years, the homeowner in Marion, OH began experiencing frustrating issues with their relatively new gutter system. Leaks at multiple miter joints, poor water drainage, and standing water were causing concern, especially around the foundation. The customer contacted Klaus Larsen Roofing to replace the entire system and ensure it was installed correctly this time. Our team was especially mindful of pitch, sealing, and water flow to address the issues that had been overlooked in the prior install.
We removed all existing gutters, downspouts, and faulty leaf protection before installing 236 feet of new Klaus High Flow (KHF) gutters in Clay. The upgraded system included 60 feet of 3x4 downspouts, a full set of elbows, end caps, and six wide-mouth outlets. We also installed four high-flow inside miters and six outside miters, ensuring each joint was properly sealed and sloped for optimal drainage. The result is a clean, efficient water management system that won’t sag, leak, or pool.
Now, the home not only has a sharper curb appeal with its matching gutter color, but the homeowner can also rest assured their foundation and landscaping are better protected thanks to the craftsmanship of a trusted roof and gutter replacement contractor.
