Before: Visible Storm Damage and Failing Shingles
Following a recent storm, the homeowner in Reynoldsburg, OH discovered shingles scattered throughout the yard and signs of water intrusion, indicating clear damage to their 10-12-year-old roof. The compromised areas raised concern about possible structural issues and the potential for further leaks if left unaddressed. With storm damage evident, the homeowner reached out to Klaus Larsen Roofing for a professional assessment and began exploring the option of filing an insurance claim.

During: Expert Replacement and Ventilation Upgrades
During the replacement process, our team worked alongside the homeowner and project consultant Brian to evaluate and address all storm-related damage. We removed the existing roofing system and began installation of IKO Dynasty shingles in Emerald Green, offering both strength and a visually striking finish. Shingle Vent II ridge vents were added to improve attic airflow, along with matching hip and ridge shingles for added protection along the rooflines. We replaced the damaged vent pipe boot with a new 4" black Perma-Boot and installed a 4" black exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper and new flex duct to enhance the home's ventilation system.

After: A Restored and Resilient Roofing System
With the new roofing system fully installed, the home now features an updated look and significantly improved performance. The Emerald Green shingles add standout curb appeal, while the new ridge ventilation, flashing components, and vent upgrades ensure long-term durability and energy efficiency. This project transformed a storm-damaged roof into a weather-ready system, reflecting the quality and professionalism of the Klaus Roofing Way.
