Before: Assessing the Need for a Complete Upgrade
Before the project began, the main home, detached garage, and shed in Delaware, OH were showing signs of aging and wear across all roof surfaces. The shingles were discolored, granules were visibly deteriorating, and flashing around vents and penetrations was beginning to loosen. While there were no active leaks, the homeowner recognized the need for a full system replacement to prevent future issues and maintain the value and protection of their property.

During: Installing a Durable, Weather-Ready System
Our crew arrived and began by safely tearing off the existing roofing materials from all three structures. Once the surfaces were prepared, we installed the Klaus Roofing Systems' Sealoron XT Ice and Water Membrane along the eaves, valleys, side walls, and around all penetrations to create a watertight barrier. Purpose-made starter shingles were laid along the perimeters, followed by the application of Dynasty Architectural Shingles in Summit Gray. New hip and ridge shingles were installed to reinforce the roofline, while a new 3" black Perma-Boot and a 4" vent hood with built-in damper and flex duct were added for improved ventilation and functionality.

After: A Unified Look with Long-Term Protection
With the installation complete, the home, garage, and shed now feature a unified, durable, and high-performance roofing system. The Summit Gray shingles provide a modern, clean look that complements the property's exterior, while the updated flashing and vent components ensure long-lasting protection. This transformation not only enhances the visual appeal of the property but also reinforces it with industry-leading materials and expert workmanship the Klaus Roofing Way.
