A homeowner in Frankfort, OH called Klaus Larsen Roofing because they had water leaking through their roof and had several damaged shingles. One of our inspectors visited the home and did a thorough examination of the roof. He realized the water was coming through the roof's old ridge vent that was not covered or sealed properly. He proposed this repair to the homeowners as well as a replacement of all the damaged shingles. The owners agreed and our crew came out and repaired the roof. Now the roof will not longer leak through the ridge vent.

A homeowner in Mount Gilead, OH, experienced significant storm damage to their home and sought a complete exterior renovation, including a new roof, gutters, and siding. With unknown roof age and active leaks, they opted to work through their homeowners’ insurance to restore their home’s structural integrity and curb appeal.
Following the Klaus Roofing Way, we began by removing all damaged materials, disposing of debris, and tearing off the existing roof. Any broken or compromised 1x8x10 plank decking was replaced to ensure a solid foundation. To provide superior protection, we applied Dynasty Architectural Shingles in Frostone Grey, featuring a reinforced Armour Zone strip and FastLock sealant for enhanced durability and wind resistance up to 130 MPH. Additionally, we installed two rows of Sealoron XT Ice & Water Barrier to safeguard against moisture infiltration, reinforcing eaves, valleys, and vulnerable roof intersections. The project was completed with the removal of old gutters and the installation of 146 feet of new 5-K white gutters, 40 feet of 2x3 downspouts, and 5-A elbows, ensuring efficient water drainage and long-term protection for the home.
