This home was in need of new ridge vents as the old ones were damaged. Project Manager David Rountree installed new ridge vents in a few hours.
Ridge vents are arguably the most important vents in any "passive" (non-electric) roof ventilation system. Hot air that accumulates inside the attic rises by convection and escapes outside through ridge vents.
Project Manager David Rountree repaired the decking and nailed down new shingles to repair the damaged roof. Additionally, there was a leak around a pipe boot in the rear of the house. David replaced the pipe boot and repaired the damaged section of roof, fixing the leak.
